DESCRIPTION:We need your help!  If you would like to help man the Stop MPRP informational booth at the fair please click on the sign up genius to man the booth.  It’s not all day and you can pick your day and time. \nsign up genius – https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B44A4AB2EA6FEC70-50305133-volunteers?useFullSite=true#/ \nWhat is the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project (MPRP)? \nA major project to create a 70-mile-long 500\,000 volt electrical transmission line starting at Norrisville in Harford County\, and then crossing Baltimore\, Carroll\, and Frederick Counties\, and ending at the Doubs substation in southern Frederick County. The project will disrupt and destroy private land\, farms\, homes\, and the natural environment. The power will largely be used to support data centers. For some additional information\, see this article published by Mike Ruby in The County Chronicle. \nHow Can You Help? \nThere are many ways you can help right now. These include: \n\nTalk to your neighbors\, tell them about the project\, and share our website with them.
