DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, September 5th.  the Carroll County Farmer’s Market is celebrating Labor Day Weekend.  This is the last date of the Summer Season at the Carroll County Farmers’ Market.   Let us help you with all of your preparations and decorations.  This will be your last chance to stock up on local produce including apples\, potatoes\, peppers\, tomatoes\, cantaloupe\, watermelon\, corn\, pumpkins and more.  Our plant vendors will have mums of every color for sale.  Also\, don’t forget our Celebrating Fall show on October 3rd  for all of your fall decorating needs; hours for the fall show will be 8:00am to 1:00pm. \nOur food stands provide home baked goods\, including cakes\, pies\, scones\, cookies\, breads\, rolls and biscotti. You will also find jams and jellies\, honey\, nuts\, and more. There will also be farm fresh eggs\, and farm raised beef\, pork\, and lamb. \nThe Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions about “putting your garden to bed” plus much more. \nEach week will offer an assortment of handmade crafts. Items available include seasonal decorations\, fabric crafts\, jewelry\, photography\, painted wood crafts and more. \nThe cafeteria is open during market hours for breakfast and lunch. Pancakes and egg sandwiches are great for breakfast and don’t miss out on a slice of homemade pie or cake. \nThe Carroll County Farmers Market is held in Westminster\, Maryland at the Agricultural Center\, located on Smith Avenue\, adjacent to the Farm Museum. \nHours for the Summer Market are from 8am-1pm. \nThe Summer Season of Farm Market runs each Saturday through September 5th. \nThere is no admission and parking is free. \nWe are handicapped accessible. \nBusses are welcome. \nFollow the signs to “Ag Center”. \nFor more info call Anita at 410-848-7748 or check out our website at \nwww.carrollcountyfarmersmarket.com
