DESCRIPTION:We need your help!  If you would like to help man the Stop MPRP informational booth at the fair please click on the sign up genius to man the booth.  It’s not all day and you can pick your day and time. \nsign up genius – https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B44A4AB2EA6FEC70-50305133-volunteers?useFullSite=true#/ \nWhat is the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project (MPRP)? \nA major project to create a 70-mile-long 500\,000 volt electrical transmission line starting at Norrisville in Harford County\, and then crossing Baltimore\, Carroll\, and Frederick Counties\, and ending at the Doubs substation in southern Frederick County. The project will disrupt and destroy private land\, farms\, homes\, and the natural environment. The power will largely be used to support data centers. These include: \n\nTalk to your neighbors\, tell them about the project\, and share our website with them. The more people who support our work\, the stronger we will be.\nSubscribe to our email list for updates.\nSend us an email either through the Contact Us form or to stopmprp@gmail.com to tell us how the project impacts you.
