SUMMARY:Customer Appreciation Day at the Farmer's Market
DESCRIPTION:Have we told you lately that we appreciate you? Because we really do! \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocal fresh produce available this week: Sweet Corn\, tomatoes\, lettuce\, kale\, Swiss chard\, onions\, peas\, blueberries\, radishes\, zucchini\, beets\, squash\, cucumbers\, garlic\, cherries\, peppers\, possibly green tomatoes\, collards\, herbs\, cabbage\, Cling peaches. \nHomemade cakes\, pies\, scones\, biscotti\, cupcakes\, muffins\, cookies\, and breads will be available as well as farm fresh eggs\, farm raised beef\, pork and lamb\, and emu meats and products. \nOur juried handmade crafts represented will be: jewelry\, photography\, painted wood crafts\, pottery\, fabric purses\, pet portraits\, fresh herb wreaths\, hand painted water colors\, personalized Christmas ornaments\, and more. \nThe Master Gardeners will be talking about how to properly wash\, prepare\, and preserve fresh fruits and vegetables\, as well as answer any of your gardening and plant questions. \nThe cafeteria is open during market hours for breakfast and lunch. Pancakes and egg sandwiches are great for breakfast and don’t miss out on a slice of homemade pie or cake. \nThe Carroll County Farmers Market is held in Westminster\, Maryland at the Agricultural Center\, located on Smith Avenue\, adjacent to the Farm Museum. \nHours for the Summer Market are 8am-1pm. \nThere is no admission and parking is free. \nWe are handicapped accessible. \nBusses are welcome. \nFollow the signs to “Ag Center”. \nFor more info call Anita at 410-848-7748 or \ncheck out our website at www.carrollcountyfarmersmarket.com
