DESCRIPTION:Located in the Burn’s Hall – 9am – 2pm \nFor more information contact Peter Coffey @ 410-386-2760 \n\n\nAccording to the University of Maryland Extension website\, the expo offers an avenue for small flock producers to network and learn about everything from breed characteristics\, showing and meat and egg production to biosecurity\, predator control\, and marketing. Attendees can also attend sessions on regulations for selling meat and eggs\, feeds and feeding\, egg grading and handling\, and health and care. \n\n\n\n\nThe cost is $5 for adults and free for those 18 and under. Pre-registration is preferred. \nThe Mid-Atlantic Small Flock Poultry Expo offers an avenue for small flock producers to network\, learn about everything from the basics of poultry production to raising special species such as waterfowl. \n
