Carroll County Farm Museum Fire Works
Enjoy Carroll’s largest fireworks display at the this Fourth of July. Grounds open at 4 p.m. with fireworks going off at sunset (approx. 9:30 p.m.). There will be entertainment, food/drink vendors and children’s activities to enjoy. Admission is $5 per car load.
Tinsmith & Blacksmith Demos, self-guided Farmhouse tours, Games & Activities at the Children’s Tent, Kid’s Scavenger Hunt, Farmyard Friends & Playground!
Food slated to include*: Johnson Family Funnel Cakes, The Cow, Convenience Catering, Chesapeake Foods, Lemon Squeezers, Knights of Columbus, 2 Bold Chefs, Enchanted Cakes & treats, Enchanted Clouds, Mr. Soft, and Plating Grace & Grub. *food vendors are subject to change without notice*
Live Music by Park Avenue 4pm-8pm
Welcomed to bring chairs & picnic blankets. (no tents or sunshades). Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed (coolers subject to search prior to admittance). No glass containers please. We encourage you to please patronize the many onsite food and drink vendors.
Please no pets, fireworks, sparklers, outside alcohol, glass containers, grills or pop up tents (tents are considered a fire hazard).
8:30pm Road Closures:
In order to facilitate a safe and orderly traffic flow from the event, the following roadways will be closed to all traffic at 8:30 pm and will remain closed until all traffic has cleared at the conclusion of the fireworks:
- Center Street – From MD 140 to MD 32
- Gist Road – From MD 32 to Kate Wagner Road
- Kate Wagner Road – From MD 32 to MD 27
- Hook Road – From MD 32 to the High School Entrance
- Smith Avenue – From MD 32 to Gist Road
All traffic exiting the Farm Museum grounds will use Center Street from the Farm Museum to Maryland 140. All traffic exiting the Agricultural Center will use Gist Road to Kate Wagner Road to MD 27 or MD 32/MD 97.
Access to the Carroll Hospital Emergency Room should be made from the intersection of Gist Road and Maryland 32. Law enforcement will be at this intersection to assist persons needing access to the emergency room.
