SkillsUSA Technology Competition & Awards – March 29th –
The SkillsUSA Maryland State Championship provides an opportunity for Maryland Career and Technical Education (CTE) high school students from across the state to showcase leadership and technical skills in a wide variety of program-aligned competitions. Students work and prepare diligently to participate in this exciting conference with the goal of receiving top honors in their respective competitions. Although every student benefits from participating in real-life, applied learning experiences, gold medal winners earn the additional honor of representing Maryland at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference this summer in Atlanta, Georgia, where 6,500 CTE students from across the country will compete for national honors.
Here are a few State Championship highlights:

- Recognition of SkillsUSA Chapter Excellence Program Outstanding Chapters

- 2:30 pm-6:30 pm – Registration Check-in
- 6:00 pm-8:00 pm – Delegate Assembly
- 7:00 pm- 11:00 pm – Evening Contests (Marriott)
- 11:00 pm – Curfew (Marriott Guests)
- Saturday, March 29, 2025 (Carroll County CTC & Satellite Sites)
- 8:00 am – Contests Begin—All Locations
- 12:00 pm- 6 pm – Contests Begin—All Locations Pre-Awards Ceremony Festivities Carroll County Agricultural Center
